FC Buffalo is a National Premier Soccer League club founded by a group of Buffalonians in 2009.
Friends who became associates when the opportunity to back soccer in their hometown arose.
FC Buffalo strengthens the game and its fans in Western New York by uniting them under one elite banner. The NPSL is a proven product, and the Buffalo squad will be a mix of the area’s best amateur, collegiate and post-collegiate players suiting up in blue, gold and white for their city and sport.
Behind the scenes is a business operation looking to secure any and all partnerships in the WNY community. The only thing that FC Buffalo believes in more than the game of soccer is the spirit and people of Buffalo, and we welcome any and all citizens and supporters to become involved in the club.
While FC Buffalo is an entirely new operation, it picks up from the ashes of a previous NPSL side in Buffalo that saw goalkeeper Bobby Shuttleworth (SUNY Buffalo) earn a contract with Major League Soccer’s New England Revolution.
With the high-quality soccer being played by so many area college clubs (University at Buffalo, Niagara, Canisius, Medaille, Buffalo State, etc.), FC Buffalo can keep the cream of the crop in the region year-long to compete at a level they would not see anywhere else, and has produced 17 professional players in just six seasons.
Beyond the on-field level, FC Buffalo is just another cog in the massive power that is United States Soccer, and admirers of the beautiful game in all parts of the world. Come along with us for viewing parties at local establishments, as well as trips to all parts of the country to support the American team, and the World’s game.
