A kitten, stuck in a peanut jar, was taken to the Erie County SPCA to have it removed.
The kitten was rescued by an Amherst Animal Control Officer on Campbell Boulevard, Tuesday.
In a picture posted on the Amherst police Facebook page, the kitten appears to have been found on the side of the road. It was transported to the SPCA in a cage with a yellow towel at the bottom for comfort.
While there's no information about how the jar was removed, Amherst police report the kitten is doing well.
