Buffalo firefighters say overnight fire caused $1 million in damage to an historic Allentown home.
Fire started at 69 Symphony Circle about 12:30 a.m. Monday.
No one was home when the fire started.
Firefighters say when they arrived there were flames shooting from the windows on the second floor.
The heat from the fire inside the home and the location caused problems for these firefighters.
The fire itself is under investigation.
There's no word on how it started or the cause.
