For many, Saturday, October 7 has been circled multiple times on the calendar in preparation for McDonald's Szechuan sauce to make a one-day comeback.

Originally introduced in 1998 as a limited-time condiment coinciding with the release of the Disney movie, Mulan, the Szechuan sauce will appear in limited quantities at nearly 1,000 McDonald'scountrywide.
People have become reacquainted with it thanks to the popularity of "Rick and Morty" in an episode where Szechuan sauce was a focus.
Good news for folks in Buffalo hankering to try it, the McDonald's at 3400 Sheridan Dr. in Amherst and 3232 Orchard Park Rd. in Orchard Park will have Szechuan sauce starting at 2 p.m.
