Buffalo police say a 15-year-old boy was shot in the 200 block of Jewett Ave shortly after 4:30 Sunday afternoon.
Police say the male victim was transported to ECMC and was operated on.
We're told the boy is in stable condition.
As 7 Eyewitness News was on the scene, our reporters saw police interviewing people in the neighborhood who may have been around at the time of the shooting.
Buffalo police and detectives are using flashlights to search for clues and have blocked off portions of the street as they continue to investigate this crime.
