The community of Clarence is rallying around a former high school teacher who recently suffered a stroke and has lost the ability to speak, write, and take care of his ailing wife.
According to this Go Fund Me page, Mike Keil worked at Clarence High School for more than 30 years but retired to take care of his wife Kathy, who was ill for many years.
While caring for his wife, Keil suffered a mini stroke and then a few days later a more serious stroke which paralyzed the right side of his body and left him in hospital recovery for two months.
The friends and family members are hoping to help relieve the family of the $200,000 medical debt.
