Chris Collins is facing some backlash after it was revealed one of his companies failed to pay workers prevailing wage.

According to the Western New York Council on Occupational Safety and Health, Audubon Machinery, a medical supply company Collins owns, had a job in New Jersey back in 2014.

They were required to to pay workers prevailing wage, but failed to do so according to the council.

The company had to pay nearly $20,000 in back pay and thousands more in fines.

The company told "City and State" Collins has nothing to do with the day to day operation.

Collins, from Clarence, represents parts of Western New York on Capitol Hill.
