Two Buffalo teens are facing second-degree murder charges, the Erie County District Attorney's Office announced Sunday.
Alexandria Heath, 17 and her boyfriend Romaine Jirdon, 19 allegedly beat and stabbed Alexandria's father Thomas Heath, 58 of Buffalo to death. Officials say it happened on Friday around 9:30 p.m. in the Heath residence at 459 West Ferry St.
They were arraigned and pleaded not guilty to the charges. Heath and Jirdon were both placed in jail without bail.
A felony hearing is set for the two on November 22 at 9:30 a.m. If convicted, both could receive a maximum of 25 years to life in prison.
