Investigators call him a drug dealer dressed as a doctor, now, Dr. Albert Cowie is set to learn his fate.
In January, the Williamsville based radiologist pleaded guilty to, "obtaining controlled substances by fraud and health-care fraud."
Investigators say that between January of 2010 and March of 2014, Cowie wrote more than 200 illegal prescriptions for powerful painkillers including Oxycodone and Hydrocodone.
Cowie could face a maximum of 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine or both.
Sentencing is set for 11am, Friday.
