You may not find many woodland creatures out and about on very cold days at Tifft Nature Preserve, but there are plenty of two-legged creatures enjoying the winter fun.
Snowshoeing is very popular at Tifft and rentals are available for adults and children. And according to program coordinator Kimberly Adriaansen, if you are patient you'll see plenty of wildlife at Tifft this time of year, including deer and birds of prey.
For tiny tots who can't venture out into the very chilly temperatures, they can bring the snow inside for the kids to enjoy.
Tifft Nature Preserve is a fun and interesting place to visit for folks of all ages. They welcome private groups, birthday parties and offer a variety of events which you can find detailed on their website.
