Firefighters from around Chautauqua County were called to a Town of Portland home, for a barn fire early Monday morning.
The fire started about 4:30 a.m. on Thayer Road. In video sent to 7 Eyewitness News by Daniel Kohler, heavy smoke and fierce flames were seen shooting from the building.
Chautauqua County dispatchers do not believe anyone was hurt. They are unsure if anything was inside the barn.
It's unclear how the fire started.
