Four people are dead after a fire in Port Colborne, Ontario.
Among those declared dead in the fire early Wednesday morning were two children.
The fire started overnight at a home on Nickel Street near Fares Street. By 5:30 a.m., the fire was extinguished and firefighters were focusing on hot spots left behind.
The Niagara Regional Police say the house involved in the fire is gutted. Firefighters had to wait until the fire was put out to enter the residence because the structure may be unsafe due to damage.
The Ontario Fire Marshals have not yet determined the cause of the fire.
