A massive, two-alarm fire ripped through a warehouse in Newstead early Thursday morning, causing an estimated $1 million dollars in damage.

The fire on Davison Road was so big, crews had two ladder trucks spraying the fire from above.

Fire started just before 6:00 a.m. and quickly made it to two alarms.

Crews tell 7 Eyewitness News there were propane and gas tanks inside.  They also say there were race cars and chemicals throughout the building.

Erie County fire investigators were heading to the scene to help determine a cause and source for the fire. As of now, there is no word on what caused it.

It does not appear that anyone was hurt.
