Without much expression, Gabriele Ballowe stood before a judge for the first time since her arraignment.

Ballowe is accused of a hit-and-run accident in Evans that killed Barry Moss, just days before Christmas in 2013.

Previous stories:

Ballowe and her co-defendant, Lynne Laettner, appeared in what was supposed to be a pre-trial hearing.

Defense attorney Thomas Eoannou asked the judge for an 'order to show cause,' requesting minutes from the two previous Grand Juries in the case. Both Grand Juries did not suggest any charges be brought against Ballowe.

She is scheduled to appear in court again on July 21st, which is when any other motions or a possible trial date could be set.
