Five kittens have a temporary new home at Canisius College as part of an animal learning class.
It’s part of a partnership with Erie County SPCA, the kittens will stay at the college to better prepare them for adoption.
Students are learning how to teach the cute, cuddly kittens how to do things like get inside a carrier, run through a tunnel, and fetch.
"Which makes them attractive adoption candidates and encourages positive relationships with humans that will help the kittens transition to their new families," Miranda K. Workman said.
The kittens will eventually be put up for adoptions by the SPCA. The kittens will be on campus until Friday, May 5th.
The training and enrichment sessions are open for public view during the following times:
* Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays - 8:00a.m. - 8:50a.m.
* Tuesdays and Thursdays - 8:30a.m. - 9:45a.m.
