Lancaster Police are investigating a deadly crash that claimed the life of a 55-year-old Lancaster woman.
It happened around 9:30PM Wednesday.
That's when police say she was driving eastbound on Broadway near Woodlawn Avenue in the Village of Lancaster, when a large pickup truck heading west crossed the median, slamming into her car.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the truck driver is a 23-year-old man from Buffalo, who was not injured in the crash and is cooperating with the investigation.
Investigators do not believe alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
