The Seneca Gaming Corporation is set to install the last beam on the $40 million expansion of the Buffalo Seneca Creek Casino downtown.
Construction started on the casino expansion this past January. The added space will include additional gaming, retail space and a new restaurant. The expansion is expected to add an extra 300 jobs at the casino.
The casino draws in around three million people a year. The Seneca Gaming Corporation expects the expansion will add to those numbers.
Leaders of the Seneca Nation of Indians along with Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown will be at the casino early Wednesday afternoon for a topping off ceremony. Expected completion date is set for Spring 2017.
