CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WKBW) — Several fire departments worked to control a fast spreading fire in Cheektowaga Monday night.
According to the Pine Hill fire chief, a home on Long Avenue was engulfed in flames when crews arrived around 7 pm. Fire also spread to another home and at least three garages in the area of Andrews Avenue and Schoedel Avenue.
The fire chief tells 7 Eyewitness News that there are no injuries reported at this time.
"It's a garage. My kids are safe, that's all that matters," says Carrie Thompson, who lost her garage in the fire.
