TOWN OF HARMONY, N.Y. (WKBW) — After a four day search, a missing woman from Chautauqua County has been found dead, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Investigators say the body of 74-year-old Diana Chase was located just after 5 p.m. Wednesday in a wooded area near Hoag Road in the Town of Harmony.
The cause of death appeared to be natural, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office.
In a press release, the Sheriff's Office extended their condolences to the family of Diana Chase.
Several agencies assisted the Sheriff's Office in the search, including the NYS DEC Forest Rangers, the New York State Police, Lakewood Busti Police, Corry Police, Pennsylvania State Police, the New York State Department of Corrections, Chautauqua County EMS, Fire coordinators, numerous volunteer fire departments and individual volunteers.
