BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo fire officials are investigating a fire at a home on Lester Street.
Fire crews were called to the house around 7 a.m. Sunday.
The two-alarm fire destroyed the house, causing an estimated $190,000 in damage, according to fire officials. Two nearby houses also sustained exposure damage.
Witnesses at the scene tell 7 Eyewitness News that one person was taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
The Red Cross is assisting 12 adults and two children.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
A GoFundMe page has now been set up to assist one of the victims of the fire who is disabled.
