A third reported shooting within hours of the first two claimed a second life.
The incident happened just after midnight along Genesee Street between Floss Street and Sprenger Avenue.
It appears that a man was shot and was possibly hit by a vehicle. He was taken to ECMC, where he was pronounced dead.
This was the third shooting in the City of Buffalo in hours. The first shooting occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Jewitt Avenue. Police say a man was fatally shot. Members from the Erie County Medical Examiner's Officer were seen on scene.
A second reported shooting happened just after 11 p.m. along Locus Street. Police did not find a victim, but did recover a stolen vehicle.
Buffalo Police continue to investigate all of these crimes.
