Get ready for a multi-level go-karting experience in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
HOCO Entertainment and Resorts tells 7EWN that construction on the new "Niagara Speedway" is nearing completion. The spiraling track is being built on Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls and is inspired by "Heavy Metal High Rise" which is a go-kart track in Branson, Missouri. Joel Noden, the Director of Marketing for HOCO, tells us the 1/3 of a mile track is the largest elevated track in North America and the only one of its kind in Canada. The track spirals up 40 feet into a roller coaster like ramp building speed near the bottom before transitioning into a formula race format course. The track should open in spring of 2018.
