The Television and Film Arts (TFA) program at Buffalo State University is hosting its 10th annual Oscars watch party Sunday night.
The watch party takes place in the Campbell Student Union Social Hall from 8 p.m. to midnight.
The event is organized by students in TFA Director Jeffery Hirschberg's film and criticism classes. In addition to the big screen viewing, students will conduct interviews and take photos of guests wearing semi-formal and formal attire.
Refreshments will be served and the Marquee Band will provide the entertainment for the night.
The TFA program is also giving out its own awards. Students submitted short films in the hopes of winning a TFA Pioneer award.
