As part of a plea deal, a man who hit and killed a 16-year-old boy in the Town of Wheatfield will face six months behind bars.
A week before Thanksgiving in 2014, Ryan Fisher was walking along Krueger Road in Wheatfield with his girlfriend when he was hit by the car Anthony DiFilippo was driving.
DiFilippo took a plea deal Wednesday and will serve at most six months in jail. His attorney says DiFilippo initially left the scene, returned, but then fled in panic.
DiFilippo will be sentenced in August. He will also serve five years probation.
