Three people in custody after shots fired

Three people are in custody after police say shots were fired Tuesday night in Buffalo.

Shots rang out around 5:30 p.m. at Tonawanda and Austin Streets. Officers took three people into custody and say they recovered a gun.

The shooting happened around 30 minutes after two people were shot in the legs in the parking lot of The Corner Store on Genesee Street and Leslie.

There were two shootings overnight in Buffalo, one just after 1 a.m. Tuesday on Rhode Island Avenue and a second near the corner of Jefferson Avenue and Riley Street just moments later. Both victims suffered non-life threatening injuries.
