Rapper DMX sat down with 7 Eyewitness News reporter Justin Moore on Monday.
The 44-year-old, whose real name is Earl Simmons, talked about his recent release from the Eric County Holding Center in Buffalo. Simmons was locked up for more than two months for failing to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in child support.
Simmons was advised by his attorney Dominic Candino to not talk about this case.
However, Simmons tells 7 Eyewitness News that he loves his family, fans, and those who have been sticking by him during his difficult years.
The platinum artist is known for hits like “Party Up.”
He’s now working on a new album in New York City.
