Royalton man charged with death of his sister

Police in Niagara County arrested 29-year old Daniel E. Wells, of Royalton, on a charge of Criminally Negligent Homicide.

Wells is accused of not seeking timely medical care for his sister, Christyna Wells, who overdosed on November 10, 2017, causing her death. Wells drove his sister from the City of Niagara Falls, where she overdosed, to the 9400 block of Ridge Road in Royalton, before summoning medical assistance.

Wells was arraigned on the homicide charge in Lockport Town Court on May 29th where he was released on his own recognizance.  But, he is currently being held on no bail at the Niagara County Jail on unrelated charges.
