The Buffalo Sabres are mourning the death of former defenseman Richie Dunn.
The Boston native began his NHL career with the Sabres in 1977.
The team posted its condolences on its Twitter page this morning.
We're still waiting for the details on exactly how he died.
Dunn played 483 games and scored 36 goals with the Sabres, Calgary Flames, and Hartford Whalers before leaving the game in 1989.
Richie Dunn was 59 years old.
