Buffalo Sabres forward Kyle Okposo is questionable for the next two Sabres preseason games after he took a puck to the knee during practice Monday.

Sabres coach Dan Bylsma tells WGR 550’s Paul Hamilton that Okposo was hit where there’s no padding and that he needs to see a doctor, but right now it appears to just be a bruise.

The Sabres have three more preseason games and ten days until they open the regular season at home against the Montreal Canadiens. While these last few preseason games could be helpful to the Sabres newest forward – getting healthy for next week should be the biggest priority.

2016 will be Okposo’s ninth year in the NHL – he’ll be okay without a few preseason games.

Bylsma also said that Sabres forward Jack Eichel will likely make his preseason debut Tuesday against the Carolina Hurricanes.
