A Connecticut man is recovering after getting into a plane crash that was caught on security camera.
The crash happened late Monday morning in the small town of Plainville, CT.
Witnesses say they saw the whole thing; they said the 1981 Cessna 172 was coming down for landing when it began veering sharply.
It was then that police say the pilot, Manfred Frost, crashed into a tree and tumbled into the parking lot of a business near the airport, narrowly missing a driver.
Frost was taken to a local hospital with apparent minor injuries.
At the scene, fire crews looked into a small fuel leak after the crash.
The single-engine plane was registered to a flight school based at a nearby airport.
This is the eighth small plane crash of the year in Connecticut.
A total of six people died in the other crashes.
