Over the past 150 years, the SPCA has served Erie County in a variety of ways and now it will be doing so out of a brand new multi-million dollar state-of-the-art animal shelter in West Seneca.
This 52,000 square foot facility will house a variety of animals up for adoption as well as animals in rehabilitation. The shelter includes a brand-new wildlife center, in addition to a brand new public veterinary clinic set to open in May.
Thanks to over $12 million dollars raised by their capital campaign, the new facility was able to open its doors while animals were still being adopted and transitioned out of the old facility on Military Road in the Town of Tonawanda.
