Route 78 in Wales was closed Tuesday morning, following strong storms Monday night.

According to our photographer on the scene, the storm downed trees, which brought down power lines in the area. The disaster coordinator for Wales tells 7EWN that power crews are waiting for daylight to start work in the area.
NITTEC says the road was expected to reopen around 8 a.m. this morning.
