Hundreds of people went to an Orchard Park tattoo parlor for a good cause Sunday afternoon. People waited for hours in line at Seven Seas tattoo to help benefit the Ten Lives Club.
Each tattoo cost $40. Organizers said all proceeds will benefit Ten lives Club, and 5% of those proceeds will be donated to Buffalo Pug and Small Breed rescue. Those who organized the event said they expected over 500 people.
"It's good to give back to the community," said Ian McCusker, owner of Seven Seas Tattoo. "I mean tattoo shops notoriously in the past have been known for being a little more risqué and people looked down on them and that's kind of changing and this is about changing that. We're trying to help."
McCusker added that the tattoo parlor tries to do this every couple of months for different organizations.
