Lyft and Guild Education have partnered to give Buffalo drivers an opportunity to further their education.
Through Guild, drivers will have access to personalized college advising and tuition discounts for classes, certificates, and degrees from over 80 online non-profit universities.
Programs include Bachelor's and Master's degrees, certificates in Data Science and HTML, as well as GED, vocational courses, and English-as-a-second-language.
The average driver working with Guild can save up to $4,220 a year on their degree.
Lyft Upstate New York's general manager said, "Everyday, drivers around Buffalo help us get to where we're going. This program will help them to get where they're going."
