Overnight Friday, some travel advisories had been lifted, as snow stopped falling.

Orchard Park police lifted the travel advisory about 2:00 a.m.

Hamburg police lifted the travel advisory about midnight.

The Village of Lancaster lifted the travel advisory about 9:30 p.m. Thursday.

The travel advisory is still in place in East Aurora.  Police say roads are passable, but are urging folks to use caution when driving.  Police expect this advisory to be lifted Friday morning.

8:45 Update: NYDOT has closed the Harlem Road bridge south of Clinton Street until tomorrow due to sagging.

Orchard Park Police have issued a travel advisory due to heavy snowfall. It is recommended to stay off the roads if at all possible.

Village of Lancaster has also implemented a "no unnecessary travel" restriction, effective 4 p.m. until 11 p.m.

A winter weather travel advisory has been issued for East Aurora. East Aurora Police say the roads are covered with snow and slippery. EAPD says heavy snowfall and gusty winds make it difficult to see the roads. If you must drive, police advise leaving early and dressing for the weather.

EAPD say to make sure to call your local police department if you get hit during these difficult driving conditions, especially if you plan on leaving your vehicle unattended.
