Buffalo firefighters are on the scene of a house fire on Busti Avenue. The fire started in one home and quickly spread to a neighboring house.
Eleven people, including a baby, were forced from the two homes that caught fire.
Firefighters were called to the first home around 5:00 Monday morning. A second alarm was issued for the fire shortly after, which means about 60 firefighters were on-scene.
Firefighters could be seen fighting the fire on ladders and on the house's roof.
Fire Commissioner Garnell Whitfield says wind was a major factor in the fire.
Three firefighters were hurt working this fire. Two of them were hurt in slip-and-fall accidents. A third was dehydrated.
It does not appear anyone inside these homes was hurt.
It's unclear how the fire started.
