Rasmus Dahlin hasn't spent a ton of time in Western New York, but it already is starting to feel like home.
"It was awesome when we were there for the combine," Dahlin said in Dallas on Thursday. "Like I said, they have great fans and it's a great city. It's a small city and I come from a small city so, yeah, it's perfect in Buffalo, so we'll see what's happening tomorrow."

For the first time since the NHL Combine in Buffalo, the projected No. 1 pick was swarmed with questions about his likely landing spot.
With the NHL Draft on Friday, he was asked about the potential of playing in Buffalo. Once again, even with it all but a certainty that the Swedish Standout will be selected by the Sabres, he played it off like it's not a foregone conclusion.

"I'm just trying to enjoy the time here and be with my family and all my friends, so, tomorrow I will think more about it."
Dahlin, along with a few of the other top prospects spent Thursday touring Dallas, including a quick trip to a local rink to give out some pointers.

When asked if Dahlin has thought about potentially turning around the Sabres, he said it's not something he has considered.
"You can't think that way, you just have to try and play your game and to be the best that you can. So, I don't think it's good to think that way."
