Another day, another injury for the Buffalo Sabres. On Saturday morning Sabres head coach Dan Bylsma confirmed that the team will be without defenseman Cody Franson for several weeks.

Franson, 29, has 16 points in 51 games played this season. Bylsma wouldn't provide an exact timeline, but he told reporters that it will likely be a two-three week injury.

The injury occurred in a 5-2 loss to the Anaheim Ducks on Thursday when Franson blocked a shot.

The Sabres take on the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday evening. Both Taylor Fedun and Justin Falk are expected to play due to injuries to Franson, and fellow defender Zach Bogosian.
