BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — Rasmus Ristolainen and Taylor Hall have been added to the COVID protocol list as the Buffalo Sabres have postponed games through February 8th. The team released a statement Tuesday evening, shortly after their game against the New York Islanders was postponed.

Along with their postponed games, the Sabres have shut down all team facilities which will remain closed until further notice. Testing was done this morning before the team was supposed to leave for their game.

The latest news comes after a COVID outbreak within the New Jersey organization. As of 5:30pm on Tuesday, 14 players have entered COVID protocols, including nine players that played in this weekend's games against the Sabres.

The league says they're in the process of reviewing the Sabres schedule and will make a decision on next week's games in the coming days.
