BUFFALO, N.Y. [WKBW] — On Monday the NHL announced that the league has postponed the Sabres next two regular season games originally scheduled for Feb. 11 and Feb. 13.

Both games were scheduled to be played in Buffalo against the Washington Capitals.

In a statement the league said, "All three organizations have, and will continue to follow, all recommended guidelines aimed at protecting the health and safety of their Players, staff and community at large as set by the NHL, local, state and national agencies."

The Sabres currently have nine players on the COVID protocol list and head coach Ralph Krueger tested positive last week.

Barring another postponement, the Sabres next scheduled game is on Feb. 15th at KeyBank Center against the New York Islanders.
