BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — The Buffalo Sabres and forward Victor Olofsson have avoided arbitration, agreeing to a two-year deal worth $3.05M annually.

The 25-year-old had 42 points [20 goals, 22 assist] in 54 games in 2019-20 before the regular season was cut short. His goals per game (.37) ranked seventh in franchise history while his points per game (.78) ranked 10th.
Despite missing 15 games because of an injury, Olofsson earned a spot on the league's all-rookie team. Before his injury, he led all NHL rookies with 16 goals and 35 points.
