BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Jeff Skinner and Jack Eichel scored twice as the Buffalo Sabres beat the Boston Bruins 4-2 on Sunday evening. It was the team's third straight road win against the Bruins for the first time since the 2005-2006 season.

With the win, the Sabres improve to 20-9-5 on the season. They had 25 total wins last season alone.

Jeff Skinner got the scoring going in the first period when he capitalized on a nice pass from Jack Eichel from behind the Bruins net. Eichel scored the team's second goal in the 3rd period and then added another assist when he and Skinner connected again late in the final period. Eichel added an empty-netter with seconds left. Eichel now has seven multi-point games in his last nine outings which ties him for the league lead. Skinner, meanwhile, has 24 goals on the season.

The Sabres return to KeyBank Center on Tuesday, December 18th when they host the Florida Panthers at 7 p.m.
