Buffalo Sabres defenseman Zach Bogosian will miss several weeks after being diagnosed with an MCL sprain, according to Sabres head coach Dan Bylsma.

Bogosian suffered the injury in the first period of the Sabres win over the Wild.
According to 7 Eyewitness Sports Reporter Matt Bove, Casey Nelson is likely to take Bogosian's spot on the defense. The Sabres will also likely need to call up a defender from their Rochester AHL affiliate.
