BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — The Buffalo Sabres have extended qualifying offers to six restricted free agents, announced just after Wednesday's deadline to do so. The offers went to Casey Mittelstadt, Victor Olofsson, Sam Reinhart, Brandon Montour, Lawrence Pilut, and Linus Ullmark.

Remi Elie, Brandon Hickey, Dominik Kahun, and Matthew Spencer were all not extended a qualifying offer. The team could still sign them when free agency opens.
The team also announced the re-signing of goaltender Jonas Johansson to a one-year contract. The teamre-signed Tage Thompson earlier this week.
