EDMONTON, Alberta (WKBW) — Another Buffalo Sabres prospect is flourishing at the 2020-21 World Junior Hockey Championship.
Sabres' 2020 second round pick John-Jason Peterka scored a hat trick and added two assists in Germany's 5-4 win over Switzerland, helping Germany advance to the quarterfinal round for the first time in the country's history.
Peterka is tied for first in points among all players at the World Juniors with `ten (four goals, six assists).
Sabres 2019 first round pick Dylan Cozens is close behind Peterka with nine points in just three games.
