BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Sabres beat an arbitration deadline twice in a 12-hour span on Sunday. Goalie Linus Ullmark has signed a one-year, $2.6 million extension with the team.

The Sabres also signed Sam Reinhart to a one-year deal Sunday morning. Buffalo's only restricted free agent with an arbitration date left is forward Victor Olofsson.

Ullmark went 17-14-3 between the pipes in the 2019-2020 season. He had a year-long goals against average of 2.69 and save percentage of .915. Those figures are good for 23rd and 20th, respectively, among goalies with at least 20 games played.

The $2.6 million cap hit comes up just short of fellow netminder Carter Hutton, who's due for $2.75M in the final year of his contract.
