On Wednesday, the team released its 2020-21 season schedule with the team hosting the Washington Capitals for their first game on January 14th.

The Sabres have not played a game since March 9th, 2020 when they beat the Capitals in the shootout 3-2.
Sabres fans are looking forward to former league MVP Taylor Hall's first season in royal blue in gold, after the team signed the forward to a one-year, $8 million deal in October.
The Sabres have not made the playoffs since the 2010-11 season.
