BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — The Buffalo Sabres have added some depth at goaltender, signing Dustin Tokarski to a two-year deal with an AAV of $725,000.
While the 31-year-old has appeared in 34 NHL games between three different teams, he's primarily played in the minors, winning the Calder Cup twice. Last season with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, the AHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins, he posted a .924 save percentage.
Tokarski will most likely compete for a spot on either the team's AHL affiliate, the Rochester Americans, or their ECHL affiliate, the Cincinnati Cyclones.
