The West Coast trip is over and the Buffalo Sabres are coming back home with a winning record and a come from behind win.
The Sabres capped off their five-game road trip with a 4-2 win over the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday evening where they put up 45 shots. They're now 5-4 on the season.
The Sabres trailed the Ducks by two goals midway through the second period but that changed in a span of a few minutes. Kyle Okposo scored on the power play to cut the deficit in half for his first goal this season. Shortly after, Jeff Skinner capitalized on a 2-on-1 opportunity to make it a 2-2 game after two periods. The goal was Skinner's fourth in two nights.
Dear Jason Botterill,
The Sabres haven’t had a lot of good players lately. Jeff Skinner is very good. Don’t let him leave Buffalo.
Sincerely,
Every #Sabres fan

Rasmus Ristolainen gave the Sabres the lead for good in the third period when he grabbed the Sabres' second power play goal of the night. It was his first of the season.
Casey Nelson is the only #Sabres defenseman on the current roster without a goal. They've played nine games.

Carter Hutton started in goal and made 26 saves. Patrik Berglund added an empty-netter to cap off the scoring.
The Sabres will be back at Key Bank Center on Thursday, October 25th when they host Montreal.
