General Manager Tim Murray said he could solve his back-up goaltending problems with a phone call.
He's done just that, sending a 5th round pick in 2017 to the Blues in exchange for the services of Anders Nilsson.
The netminder spent most of last season with Edmonton, before being traded to St. Louis. The 6-5 Swede suited up in 26 games for the Oilers, going 10-12-2 over that span.
He only appeared in three games for the Blues and went 0-1.
